DONICA MCNEILL-TAYLOR

Donica is an Administrative professional who joined Nspiregreen LLC in 2018 to support the daily operations of the company. She comes from a diverse background in Management, Legal, Hospitality, and Healthcare. In her early career, she worked for the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince Georges County Maryland and provided over 15 years of Administrative support to Attorney and Maryland State Delegate Joe Vallario, Jr.of District 27A. After deciding a career change, she was approached to start a new career in hospitality Management at a Hilton property. During her tenure there for 3 years, she managed all Front Office Operations. Donica continued to explore new career opportunities and pursued a career in the healthcare field, providing case management with overseeing Worker’s Compensation claims and supporting medical clinicians as a Registered Medical Assistant. Three years ago, Donica decided to leave the healthcare field and pursued various contracting positions, where she provided project support to government agencies such as Homeland Security, NIH, OPM, and NOAA. Since, then her career has led her to our company, where she has gained additional experience in Community Engagement.

I became an Administrative assistant because…  Growing up I always had big plans to work my way up to a CEO position of a Fortune 500 company or even someday being a successful business owner. I have always had strong business and technical skills and was intrigued to become knowledgeable of front and back-office operations. I also wanted to work among business owners to see their level of dedication and determination to their establishment. I ultimately enjoyed knowing that I was able to provide support with aiding to companies' short- and long-term goals and providing professional support to the company and providing exceptional services.

What would be her dream project?  My dream project would be providing public outreach in Community Development to bring awareness of poverty in public spaces. I also would be interested in finding an opportunity to provide a consistent food source to feed the hungry, assist with medical treatment and provide care packages.

If she weren't an administrative assistant…  She would be a Registered Nurse, providing medical services to a trauma center. She has always been passionate about helping the injured and sick. However, if she had an opportunity to work in trauma, she feels that she would gain a great deal of experience because of the fast-paced environment and not knowing what to expect when it comes to the patient’s condition
